The application of Cascading Style Sheets is the most common technique used to control the visual layout, colors, fonts and styles of webpages.

In this course, we will build off of an understanding of HTML principles and take an in-depth look at CSS. Particularly, we will pay attention to wrestling with default browser behaviour that can interrupt your designs, as well as addressing how to handle cross-browser issues.

We will also be looking at the differences between approaching small sites and larger, multi-page sites, and the best practices to employ when dealing with sites as they grow.

Finally, we will investigate some intricate CSS work-arounds that can help you break out of the apparent limitations of designing for the screen.
